Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 March 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Viniq service ("Service") at viniq.se, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Viniq ("we", "us"). We may update them from time to time; the current version is always available at viniq.se/terms.
2. Description of the Service
Viniq is a cloud-based wine-cellar management platform that lets you register, track, and analyse your wine collection. Features include inventory management, drinking-window notifications, tasting notes, cellar history, and AI-assisted recommendations.
The Service is provided free of charge. An optional paid tier may be introduced in the future; any such changes will be clearly communicated in advance.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the minimum legal age for purchasing alcohol in your country, to create an account. By registering you confirm that you meet this requirement.
4. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@viniq.se if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not share your account with other people or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Upload content that is harmful, offensive, deceptive, or infringes third-party rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or to the platform's systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including through excessive automated requests.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of all wine data, tasting notes, images, and other content you add to the Service ("Your Content"). By uploading content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display it solely to operate the Service for you.
We do not use Your Content to train machine-learning models, sell it to third parties, or use it for advertising.
7. AI Features
Viniq includes AI-assisted features such as cellar coaching and drinking-window analysis. These are provided as informational tools only and do not constitute professional advice. Recommendations may not always be accurate; always use your own judgement before making purchasing or consumption decisions.
8. Availability and Changes
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Where a change materially affects your use of the Service, we will give reasonable advance notice.
9. Intellectual Property
All software, design, trademarks, and content produced by Viniq remain our exclusive property. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the Service as intended.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any results obtained from using it will be accurate or reliable.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Viniq shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including loss of data or profits.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or EUR 50, whichever is greater.
12. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the profile settings page. We may suspend or terminate your access without notice if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law.
Upon termination, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country require otherwise.
